Do you know what a natural disaster means? It's a sign that nature is angry with human mistreatment😔.
Hello everyone.
Today I'm back with my usual story from the evacuation center. But today, we received a lot of news about our village. The evacuation team provided important news today. Several people in the evacuation center have already visited the village and inspected the condition of their homes.
The evacuation team always provides important news and information so residents are aware and prepared. Several areas in Aceh Tamiang are still in very bad condition. But before I continue, I want to continue with my morning story.
Our friends at the evacuation center went about 30 meters to our accommodations, as the air was fresher there, especially since it was near the rice fields. Today, we had a relatively long internet connection, thanks to the Starlink network, which was activated from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
We also enjoyed the food we received, Pop Mie, often called Mie Kotak (box noodles). Before leaving, we had prepared some other snacks, including snacks, from the aid. We enjoyed them with our friends at the evacuation center while contacting relatives who were far away. We weren't too bored at the evacuation center today, as we had internet access for six hours. However, the electricity was still completely out.

This image is from our village. We received it from relatives and friends in the evacuation center. Look at the current situation in Aceh Tamiang. It's truly heartbreaking to see anyone who sees this image. This afternoon's image has become a deeply felt image in Aceh Tamiang, reflecting on the devastating flood and subsequent flooding. It's incredibly sad, especially considering the loss of so many possessions.
Some areas have yet to be evacuated. In the Aceh Tamiang region, electricity and networks remain completely paralyzed, with no access at all. Several trucks are stranded and unable to return home. Food aid is in dire straits, and residents are at a loss for words except to pray and be grateful for what they have.
This feels like an earthquake, as many buildings have collapsed, but this isn't an earthquake. This is a devastating flash flood. It's still devastating, and no evacuation has been carried out. Only local residents can do what they can. Cars, wood, and homes were all swept away by the floodwaters. Many victims are still missing. This is a deep sorrow, Prayforacehtamiang 🥹.

As usual, every night is filled with the light of flashlights, candles, and firewood, because every night around midnight, there's no power at all. Moreover, the electricity is still completely out. This is how residents in the evacuation center prepare for important things, like preparing food in the middle of the night. Because if it's the middle of the night, when hunger strikes, there's no need to worry about cooking.
Everyone always works together to make things easier and faster, because this is a shared experience in the evacuation center. May the residents of South Aceh, East Aceh, and Central Aceh always be well, and may everything be made easy. May the residents affected by the floods stay healthy, and let's continue to do our best for this life.
