Eighty percent of the people in my hometown, Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia, have lost their homes. We can only surrender and wait for the wisdom of the future.

Hello everyone.

I want a leader who can bring positive change to society. We hope foreign governments will pay more attention to the devastating floods in Aceh, Indonesia, and I want to speak out for women's rights to protection and equality. I feel so sad today. Why?

Aceh Tamiang still needs a lot of aid. Today I received so much news. We in the evacuation center, journalists, were discussing the devastating events surrounding the Aceh Tamiang region. It truly left us speechless.

The housing in my village, Aceh Tamiang, was completely submerged, with only a few houses remaining, but over twenty percent of the houses are still standing. This morning, my relatives and other evacuation workers, I went down to our village to assess the current situation. We went down for the sole purpose of seeing firsthand the aid being delivered by helicopter. So, we went down to the village to collect aid from the evacuation center in Aceh Tamiang.

Many residents when they came down to the village were busy with their respective activities seeing how badly our village was hit by the flood, Many people were looking for their homes and household items, Many people lost their possessions, many lives were lost, it was truly sad, our village no longer existed, the housing had all collapsed, so if Allah took everything, in the blink of an eye it would all disappear, hopefully this will be filled with extraordinary wisdom in the future, Amen.

I'm deliberately continuing to provide updates here on the impact of our village being hit by flooding, so that other countries will intervene to provide assistance and substantial support to those of us affected by flooding throughout Indonesia, as this is a national disaster. Dear other countries out there and throughout Asia, we desperately need help so we can get back to normal, able to go to school, play, and seek knowledge, because we still desperately need big dreams for our future here🥹.

We don't need anything extravagant; we just need all Acehnese to receive housing assistance. In my region, Aceh Tamiang, 80% of the people have lost their possessions, homes, vehicles, and household items. We desperately need assistance from capable governments to help our people find a place to live again.

In Aceh Tamiang, land routes and road access remain completely paralyzed. Not only has one bridge on the national highway collapsed, but the entire bridge hasn't been evacuated at all. Only ordinary people are stepping in to repair and evacuate as best they can. This isn't a matter of begging for help; it's a disaster that has befallen us, and that's why we're constantly making noise because our situation is so dire.

Several times helicopters have brought aid items resulting from donations and assistance from countries such as Malaysia, China and the city center. We are always very grateful even though the people of Aceh have lost all their possessions, we are still very grateful to have assistance to survive, honestly, many people support the assistance to the community. In fact, we really hope that not only aid can be given, but we really hope for other assistance as well, such as providing housing assistance and evacuating collapsed schools and medicines. That is what the people of Aceh-Indonesia are hoping for right now.

In fact, several regions in Aceh have demonstrated, urging the evil government to stop doing things we don't want anymore, like corruption and forest destruction, because we are deeply traumatized. Many photos of the demonstrations with the community and high-ranking students involved, but I can't take them due to copyright. I urge the government to stop its greedy tree-cutting practices. We still need fresh air and healthy pollution. Don't turn our forests into palm oil plantations.

We and other regions, whenever there are intact walls, always write messages of help and motivation so that criminals know their place and don't do the same thing again, because Aceh is a rich country. We must not allow any more criminals to impoverish our country because of the actions of criminals within it.
