It was a tiring day, we tried to find a good internet network in the rice fields💦.

Hello everyone.

It's a bright morning, and I'm back to sharing my daily life, but I don't have much to share. You know what? I've been experiencing hardship and sadness today. I'm very anxious because yesterday I couldn't access the internet. The power went out here, and I was only able to access it a few days ago. But it was useless because the internet connection only returned for a short time.

I was really worried because my phone's battery was only a few percent left. Unfortunately, at 2:00 PM last afternoon, my phone also died because it didn't have a battery. Luckily, the electricity was back on here in the highlands for about an hour, so I rushed to our usual spot to charge our phones.

We haven't been idle today, as I haven't posted in almost two days. I tried walking through the rice fields to the highlands, a fairly long distance, to find a network. Finally, we were able to get a cell phone connection, although it was very slow, and we stopped for a short break at our usual river water collection point.

The river bridge for water intake is made of wood. This is the river I mentioned a few days ago in that post. It's one of the rivers with clean water now. It's because the river is full of large rocks. However, even though it's clean, we're very careful because it's full of tiny germs, so we always boil the water to ensure safety. Locals say it used to be very good because the bridge was made of iron.

However, last month's flood was so strong that the bridge broke and collapsed. Local residents worked together to build a bridge across the highland river to make it easier to transport water. We rested here for quite a while, about two hours. Then the weather got hotter, and the sun really stung our bodies. Our friends and I were forced to spend a little more time cleaning ourselves to refresh ourselves.

Our daily routine here is as usual. Every time we get a boxed meal or rice packet, we always think about eating together. Especially this afternoon, as night falls, we enjoy our food by the rice paddies, as the food here is a little bit appetizing. Furthermore, we are always grateful for what we have here. One of the things that makes me confident is being grateful for what I have.

Moments like those from my school days may never be repeated, given the state of Aceh and the attention it receives. After enjoying our meal, we always seek entertainment when friends invite me to tour the Java highlands.
