Looking for internet network in rice fields and in villages💦. January 17, 2026
Hello everyone.
This morning, we're waiting for uncertainty. Every morning, we think something big is about to happen to us, but it's impossible. We don't expect much, regardless of the lost possessions or the circumstances. But we really hope that the internet and electricity will return to normal. That's what we hope for every day. Right now, I really want a stable internet connection so I can post regularly.
Every morning, sometimes we skip breakfast and hunt for internet access. The residents here hunt for internet access in the highlands, even if it's very small. But we're very grateful. Having internet access allows us to do important things, like calling family and doing online work. Especially now that I've joined Steemit, so I really need to be consistent and consistent every day.
This morning, we thought the forest and rice paddies I and my friends visited would be one of the places where internet access was available. But today, we only have about 2G internet, making it very difficult for us to do online work like uploading photos to Steemit. I feel very sad, as do my friends here, because we have traveled far from the refugee camp to search for internet access in the forest and rice paddies.
This morning, we tried to go down to the village to see the conditions there, but my heart said this morning, wait a minute, because this might be the time, because every time I go to the village, my heart is so sad to see the conditions in the village that look like a dead village. This morning, we with our friends in the evacuation, enjoyed breakfast at 10:00 WIB. Because this morning in the public kitchen of the evacuation was a little late in preparing the breakfast menu.

A few hours later, when the day was no longer hot, my friends and I finally held back our sadness to see the conditions in the village. We took the road we often used, but it was a bit difficult because the rain had been so heavy the night before that the road was covered in mud again.
Look at the current condition of the village. It's truly heartbreaking. It's been almost two months since the devastating floods hit Aceh, but the situation here still hasn't changed. Many of our homes here haven't been evacuated at all. We can only see with our own eyes, but we remain strong and hold back the tears that threaten to fall. May we always remain strong in the face of adversity.
