Making spicy mango seasoning in a local rice field🕊️. January 25, 2026
Hello everyone.
Morning has arrived again. This morning, I woke up earlier than usual. This morning I had several activities at my refugee camp, starting with washing clothes and dishes and cooking utensils. After I finished these activities, I had time to chat with my friends in the highlands, asking them questions and asking them about the night before. The electricity in my area was out and there was no network at all.
Because of this, my friends gathered in the highlands at 10:00 a.m. this morning. So, I made small talk and asked about the situation in the area where my friends live. I directly asked some questions about the night before. The same thing happened at my friends' place in the highlands.
Then, at 1:00 p.m., I went with my friends to look for fallen mangoes, as the wind had been very strong last night. But before we went into the forest and the local rice fields, we had an interesting story. We saw that the bridge was already open or being repaired. This struck us as odd and thoughtful. The bridge over the small river we had crossed had collapsed the previous day, but today we saw it had been repaired. We didn't know who had repaired it.
The bridge was our access road to the local rice fields and the forest where we foraged for forest fruits like pomegranates, mangoes, and others. We often fetched water from the small river. Because the water was clear and clean, we immediately left and continued our mission to find fallen mangoes.

It was not in vain to go with friends looking for mangoes. In the late afternoon around 4:00 PM we found several mangoes that had fallen from a tree. We did not ask permission, because the mango tree grew outside the residents' rice fields. We had spent several hours with friends walking around the forest in the highland area. After we were tired enough and rested for a while, then we immediately returned.
I took this photo using my friend's cell phone.
We were too tired today, so we stopped at a hut in a local rice field. We stopped here because we found 4G connectivity here. We found quite a lot of it. Usually, places like this don't have any internet connection at all, but this time, the network here was normal compared to the village where we live. We immediately made mango salad in the local rice field while chatting with our friends.
It was getting dark, and we didn't have anything else to do today. After making mango salad in the rice field, and writing my daily story, as I was preparing a post due to the difficulty of finding internet in the village, we immediately continued home along the same route we had taken.
