Hello everyone.

I just realized that the situation in Aceh is getting more chaotic by the day. Let's think about it together. Does that make sense? Imagine, it's been over a month since the flood disaster in Aceh, but there hasn't been any change at all. Where is the government? Where are those in power? Yet, strangely, the Indonesian minister and president deployed soldiers to the flood-affected areas in Aceh last month. They were deployed in large numbers to work and evacuate the flood victims. They are working, but strangely, there's been no change at all.

Even the main access roads and bridges and national roads are still collapsed. Why are they working when the roads and conditions here are still so bad and there hasn't been any improvement at all? In fact, the people of Aceh often go hungry, and they haven't even received any housing assistance at all. Strangely, Indonesia refuses aid from foreign countries. Even foreign countries like Japan, China, North Korea, and Malaysia care about Aceh and want to send aid to us. But the Indonesian president refuses aid from foreign countries. The Indonesian president claims that Indonesia is capable of handling Aceh's flood disaster. Yet the people of Aceh are still in an economic crisis and are still starving. Even many roads and bridges have collapsed.

Truly, the Acehnese people feel trapped in a cave and ignored by the Indonesian state. It's very strange. I'm not great at politics or law, but I already feel the strangeness of living in Indonesia. And one more thing, even my school building hasn't been repaired for over a month; it's still in a state of collapse. That's why the Acehnese people are asking for independence and want to break away from Indonesia, because we feel like we're being tortured. Truly, what I feel is that each day isn't getting better, but rather, it's getting sadder when I think about it.

Today, I don't know why, but I'm thinking about how the situation is getting worse by the day. Even food aid from the floods seems forgotten and ignored. Only a few weeks later, aid arrives normally. We, the people of Aceh, sometimes try to find work anywhere to buy our own necessities. It's incredibly sad, having to make money in such dire circumstances.

Even the people of Aceh help each other, asking for small donations from those who can afford it, such as clothing and food. We here, whether we like it or not, are always grateful for what we have. For example, if we only have enough money to buy instant noodles, that's more than enough. Today, we always have the same routine: When we wake up in the morning, we always gather with friends to enjoy breakfast together.

As 2026 approaches, the people of Aceh, who have lost their possessions, such as their homes, are forced to build tents in open spaces around rice fields. I sincerely hope that we will make significant changes so that the Acehnese who have lost their homes can find homes with the aid they receive. We, too, may receive greater wisdom in the future.

Unfortunately, Aceh is no longer what it used to be. It's a shame that children are still dropping out of school. It's a shame that Acehnese people have difficulty finding work. This is not our fault; this disaster is the result of greedy people who are willing to destroy the forest. Aceh used to have fresh air because the trees in the forest were still pristine. But now the forest trees have been replaced by state-owned oil palm trees. It's truly sad that Aceh, once a prosperous and prosperous nation, is now creating the sorrow that evil and greedy people need.

Every day we wander around the refugee camps in the highlands. We always see young children playing in different ways. They used to play in safe places, but now they play on the edge of the forest. The forest has been destroyed, and the risks are very high. Because wild animals no longer have a home, it's very high risk. For example, if children play in the forest, we're afraid something bad will happen.

Every time I see children playing, my friends and I always warn them not to play in dangerous areas, like rivers and bushes. We always hope that they can enjoy a safer and more prosperous life, because they are so young and need strict guidance. Stay healthy, little ones. I hope you will be successful when you grow up.

Tonight, I enjoyed yesterday afternoon's meal, as I still had some vegetables left over. Likewise, the refugee group in Block B had the same breakfast tonight as yesterday. We made spicy pecal (Indonesian pecal), a dish that goes perfectly with plain white rice and no fish.

This is our situation here. Sometimes without electricity, sometimes without a network. We no longer care about the circumstances. We are always grateful and hope to Allah SWT that we will receive greater wisdom in the future. May the people of Aceh always be healthy and able to survive whatever the circumstances. Every night waiting for morning, every morning waiting for noon and evening, that's all we do, but we always try our best.
