We are very grateful that Aceh Tamiang, Aceh, Indonesia, has received aid by air, Thank you🥹
Hello everyone.
I apologize for not being able to do anything here yesterday. The electricity and internet were completely out of service, and the Starlink network, which was provided by the aid, was also inaccessible. Today, even though it's dark, I'm incredibly grateful for the lighting, the LED flashlight provided by the aid.
Tonight, I can only access the network once a week. Once a week, our refugee group cooks together. Today, we just received airlift assistance from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) team in Aceh and also assistance from Peduli Sumatera.
As a community group, we prepared a menu using the aid we received. The relief team immediately worked with residents affected by the floods in the highlands. We prepared whatever we could find from the flood relief. Most importantly, we cooked rice and instant noodles for breakfast. This week, air travel for food aid has been difficult, as some vegetables are unavailable.
Thank God, we are very grateful to have several boxes of clean water, including bottled mineral water. Together with the evacuation group, we worked together to prepare a meal for the highland evacuation center. I am very happy and grateful for the assistance provided to the people of Aceh, Indonesia. I hope we continue to receive food aid quickly so that people in evacuation centers like ours don't go hungry.

Since I couldn't share a story yesterday afternoon, I'll share a story tonight, as I received a Starlink connection from the aid program for displaced residents. Yesterday afternoon, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) team conducted a community service activity with us in the highland refugee camps. Together with the PMI team, we worked together to clean up a very dirty area. The trash is cleaned up once a week.
Then the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) team cleaned up and built a kitchen hut on the high ground in the evacuation center. We were very happy because the PMI team cared so much about the flood-affected community. This was to ensure we could live in a healthy environment. That's why they built a hut for us to use as a kitchen to cook food.
The electricity supply was still completely cut off, including the internet. The only exception? We had internet and electricity through sophisticated aid, although it only lasted a few hours. We were very grateful because we had internet access for a week, even if it didn't last long.
That's our daily situation. The residents here, including myself, really hope that other countries will care about Sumatra and Aceh, Indonesia. Thank you so much for this food aid; we are truly grateful and thankful.
