Whatever the story, instant noodles are the solution.

Hello everyone.

Today, I'm at the refugee camp, completely at a loss for what to do. Because every time I'm unemployed, it's very difficult to fight boredom. Even if I had a job, I could easily pass the time without realizing it. Every morning, I try to do something like my old life. But here, it's very different, because sometimes we have to do things together, like cooking.

Today, in 2026, food aid has not arrived from the government. We usually receive food aid once a week, but today is the second day of the week, and the aid has not arrived. In several areas in the Aceh Tamiang region, aid has come from various people, such as celebrities and Instagram celebrities. It's just the people helping the people.

So, today I want to tell you about cooking noodles in a refugee camp. This time, my friends and I cooked noodles in a highland area by the river where we usually get our water. The situation here and in Aceh Tamiang remains the same. However, today I received so much news, from various regions about flood evacuations. Acehnese people also went down to the village to demonstrate for the national access road to be repaired quickly.

The saddest thing is that when we were here, there was no other food besides instant noodles. That made us even sadder. But what can we do? This alone is already very grateful, even though we've been consuming instant noodles frequently lately. Especially every morning, we're busy finding new variations or cooking anything to entertain ourselves.

The road leading here to our usual place to spend time and relieve fatigue is not easy. It's very difficult, as the road is only a few dozen meters from our refugee camp in the Aceh Tamiang highlands. Especially during the rainy season, the road is very slippery due to the mud that has accumulated from the floods last month.

However, no matter how difficult the road, we are always willing to go. For example, we have run out of water at our refugee camp. There are several rivers closer to our refugee camp, but some of them are very dirty. This river is the only source of water that we can find that's relatively clean. So, even though it's a long way to the river, the important thing is that we are always enthusiastic about getting water and relieving our fatigue.

Hopefully the forests we visited are always maintained, because the trees here are generally still good and natural. If the government knew about this place, surely all the trees here would have been cut down and taken over by the state. We feel very sad, because we need clean and fresh.

I hope you can return to a reasonably normal life soon! At least you are sticking together, staying healthy and making the best of your situation... Maybe you will enjoy the video – it is in German, but you can watch it without sound: Instant noodles are really versatile ;-)))

Seriously, when I saw that video, I wish I didn't eat fried noodles or instant noodles anymore. They're not good for consumption. The situation here is very difficult, there's no other way. Thank you, my friend @weisser-rabe

Wow, I wish we understood this and didn't consume instant noodles so often. But the aid we receive always includes instant noodles.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
