According to Google Trends data, the global search volume for the term “Bitcoin” reached about 29% of the peak recorded last year between June 14 and 21; a statistic that shows that the search fever and public attention to this digital asset has noticeably subsided in recent months.
This is while the highest search volume was recorded in early February; A period in which the price of Bitcoin was accompanied by severe fluctuations and retreated from the $78,000 range to around $63,000. At the same time, this price drop, along with increased volatility in the market, caused users to become more sensitive and attentive, and as a result, searches related to Bitcoin reached their annual peak. Along with the decrease in searches, the overall market sentiment has also become more negative. The “fear and greed” index in the crypto market, according to data from Coin Glass, is in the range of 21 points, indicating a state of “fear” among traders. Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin is also fluctuating around $62,000; a figure that is a significant distance from the historical high of $126,000 recorded in recent months.
Experts attribute part of this decrease in attention and weak demand to events such as the sudden fall in October 2025, the sale of part of the assets of the strategy company, as well as the increasing attractiveness of initial public offerings in the field of artificial intelligence; Factors that have collectively pushed the cryptocurrency market into a period of stagnation and caution.
