Socialism works just fine.
as long as the group size in which it is implemented is SMALL.
Typically no larger than an extended family.

yup...key word is SMALL.
size matters.
for example, beyond a certain size a bird can NOT fly.
same with socialism..beyond a certain size it can't fly either.
