Even when cannabis laws change, if someone is behind bars for charges related to the plant, they are still considered a criminal and “lawbreaker” because they are, just because the law changed does not mean they didn't commit a crime. This is great news though, this means thousands of Californians will once again be eligible to keep and bear arms who had forfeited that right.
