The demand for hajjatri replacement quota increased from 4 to 15 percent
The Ministry of Religious Affairs gives the facility of hajj for someone who has registered for Hajj or if he is seriously ill, then he may transfer Hajj to someone else. The Replacement Replacement Quotation Keeps 4% Every Year. This quota has been saved this year too. However, the Haj Agencies of Bangladesh (HUB) and Bangladesh Hajjatri Kalyan Parishad demanded the transfer quota to 15 percent this year.
According to the Hub sources, most of the agencies need 8 to 15 hajj pilgrims replacement. Some pilgrims of some agencies are also not required to be replaced.
Habah general secretary Shahadat Hossain said that after registration, many Hajj pilgrims died or became ill. Many times his family members voluntarily canceled the hajjatra. Agencies have paid for the registered Hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia for all the expenses. Agencies can be saved if the pilgrims are allowed to take the pilgrims.
However, there are allegations, some agencies registered fake names, passports using hajj pilgrims. Now they are trying to send other pilgrims to the registered pilgrim, who have become ill or killed or have been shown to be close relatives.
Hajj director Saiful Islam said about this, four percent hajj pilgrims have been given the opportunity to transfer agencies. Whether the replacement quota will be extended or not, it is the government's high decision. It is being investigated whether someone has registered with the wrong passport.
