I am an European living in the US, and I can say that it is pretty fucked up here. Problem is that the mass shootings and the gun-violence rate, become second nature. Something you just assume is part of your life, when it is not in the rest of the world.

People in the US, love their guns, or, as it was stated, the NRA is so powerful of a lobbying group, that it becomes impossible to change the laws.
