In the Netherlands we learn that between 50 million and 80 million people died because of WW2. I have seen many graveyards across Europe, but I didn't count them myself. You can visit camps at Sachsenhausen or Auschwitz and see the hair that was cut from the prisoners before they were killed. You can visit all the camps across Europe if you want to see for yourself what the scale was.
