According to the publication, the face value of the check depends on the income of the applicants and their marital status. It is clarified that only "wealthy or very wealthy families will not be eligible.
The French leadership notes that coupons will be able to receive about 70 percent of households that are heated with firewood.
In August, it became known that many French residents decided to heat their homes with wood in the coming winter due to rising gas and electricity prices. Firewood production enterprises are operating at full capacity, the flow of orders does not stop, and sales of wood-burning stoves have grown by one and a half times over the year.
