How can you explain that the majority of the country voted NOT in favor of lifting term limits then go on and try and say the majority of the country supports keeping him as president? If there was any truth to be found in that at all I'd like to know where you find it.

Why is it also that there doesn't seem to have been any problems established in elections by outside observers until what would have amounted to his last term ending and during that time in what would be called their mid term election people who weren't supporters of his names disappeared off ballots?

Why Caitlin, why?...why is it so hard for you to understand that this is a man who had a problem with wanting to let go of power? He finagled it for all it was worth within reason and once reason ran out you are trying to say he was so much an angel he'd never try anything underhanded to stay in power and I find that hard to accept. If the will of the people was for term limits that's where it should have stopped and he should have stepped down gracefully. He'd lost power but he'd gone down in the history books of Bolivia as a great president.

There could be dozens of fingerprints all over how they got him out but they just played his game of placing his fingerprints all over how he managed to stay in.
