This is what a good Big Tech company does re Crypto - helps developers.
Unlike what a BAD Big Tech company such as Facebook does: bans crypto industry ads and defames the industry as scammers all while secretly developing it own fake crypto coin.
If you think they shouldn't be able to get away with it then join the Crypto Class Action against them.
Its as simple as sending an encrypted memo to @jpbliberty saying you want to join and providing contact details.
Apple has sort of been hostile to crypto apps from what I've heard. Hopefully they are being more open. Mobile adoption will allow for a while lotta people to use this tech.

I heard about this. It’s all coming together nicely as these big companies start integrating crypto/blockchain tech into their products. Slowly we make our way into the hands of the masses, just like the internet.

Ah yes it for sure was only a matter of time. Apple is always about 1-3 years behinds android lol so it makes sense they are finally talking about it after the S10 was released
