A new note of 100 rupees will be launched soon by the Reserve Bank of India. The photo of this new note has just been released. The color of this new note is light purple. It has a photograph of the well-known Queen's wellness in Gujarat. After the new note comes to the market, the old note will also be in circulation. The design of this note has been finalized in Mysore Printing Press. In the same press, new notes of Rupees 2000 rupees were printed.

The size of this note is 66 mm × 142 mm. In size, this note will be smaller than the existing Rs. 100 rupee note and bigger than Rs. 10 rupees. The speed of the printing will be increased after the entry of the note in the circulation.

This new note can be marketed till the end of August. The feature of this note is that the note will be printed by the indigenous paper and ink of the security paper mill of Hoshangabad. Dewas press management has not yet given the official information about the new notice. On November 8, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the closure of notes of 500 and 1000 rupees in the country.
