North Korea Threatens to Attack US Without Nuclear Weapons
North Korean authorities (North Korea) again threatened to launch a nuclear strike into the 'heart' of the United States (US). This threat applies if the US attempts to overthrow Kim Jong-Un as the highest leader of North Korea.
As reported by CNN on Wednesday (26/7/2017), the North Korean threat was raised after the Director of CIA, Mike Pompeo, said the administration of US President Donald Trump must find a way to separate Kim Jong-Un from North Korea's nuclear program. North Korea strongly responded to Pompeo's statement.
"The DPRK (official name of North Korea) legally stipulates that, if the highest dignity of the DPRK is threatened, the DPRK must first destroy the countries and entities that are directly or indirectly involved, by mobilizing all types of attacks including nuclear" A spokesman for the North's Foreign Ministry, was quoted as saying by the official North Korean news agency, Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
"If the United States dares to show any sign of an attempt to overthrow our supreme leadership, we will attack mercilessly at the heart of the US with our strong, sharpened and harder nuclear hammers," the spokesman added.
In a statement last week, Pompeo signaled the US government wants a regime change in North Korea, which is now led by Kim Jong-Un. This Pompeo comment is referred to as the most aggressive comment from the Trump government for the North Korean regime.
"For the regime (North Korea), I hope we can find a way to separate the regime from this system. The North Korean people, I'm sure are fun people and happy to see him go," Pompeo said referring to Kim Jong-Un.
The North's threat comes amid ongoing US intelligence assessments, about North Korea accelerating intercontinental ballistic missile programs (ICBM). A spokesman for the US Defense Intelligence Agency declined to comment on a report by The Washington Post, which said North Korea could have ICBM capabilities with the fastest nuclear warhead next year. But the US admitted North Korea missile capabilities continue to rise.
"North Korea's latest intercontinental ballistic missile test - which is not surprising for the intelligence community - is one of the milestones we predict will help improve the time frame and assessment of threats Kim Jong-Un has made in the United States," the manager said. US National Intelligence for East Asia Office of National Intelligence Director Scott Bray told CNN.
"These trials, and their impact on our assessment, highlight North Korea's nuclear threat and North Korean ballistic missile program, to our allies in the region, and to the rest of the world." The intelligence community closely monitored the growing North Korean threat. "
I don't believe a word what the media says about North Korea. I dont trust them for nearly any reporting.
USA wants an invasion, and they are putting out propaganda to garnish public support.
