Yeah I had to search them up after reading this article. Indeed from Japan :)
The first line of the articles says "World's largest bitcoin exchange" which isn't true.
That's the reason I wondered.

According to cryptocoincharts, the exchange that had the largest volume in the last 24 hours was Bitfinex.
