Unfortunately, they do ask for KYC compliance but your payment transactions happen in privacy i.e. without broadcasting in your social contacts like the way it happens in other payment apps. Moreover, they said that they will provide a facility to enable transactions through your aliases when you want to remain anonymous or want to broadcast it on some social media.
