If Nigeria was a song, it hit a crescendo in 2015. The change you wanted is here but after four years, its clear that the devil we knew was truly better than the angel "we didn’t know" in 2015. He’s not an angel anymore and now in his second term, we’re experiencing high level of misconduct, numerous human rights violations and complete disregard for judicial process.

Nigeria is frequently on the news and its mostly for the wrong reason. Our politicians, organs of governments and agencies that were established to help citizens have been weaponized to tools of oppression by the current regime.
Even before the senate threatened to kill hate speech offenders and place hefty fines on “social media abuse, they were already making a complete monkey of themselves through abuse of power. The inhumane treatment of Nnamdi Kanu comes to mind and now, its former presidential candidate and CEO of Sahara reporters, Sowore being harassed by people employed to protect us.

Sowore’s "crime" was staging a protest against this inept Government and what was their response? They hang a frivolous charge of treason against him and then disobey court orders numerous times by using the Department of State Security as hired thugs to lock him up against the court’s order. If that wasn’t silly enough, observe how our security agency makes a complete fool of themselves as they try to arrest him INSIDE a court room.

The international community has finally caught up with the situation and the USA through Senator Bob Mendes threatened to take repercussive action against the Nigerian government if court orders aren't obeyed.

Nigeria is an unbearable place to live in and we’re the laughing stock of the international community. We’re being run by blood-sucking, incompetent humans with no leadership bone in their body. Defend your right and stand for the truth but more than anything else, get the hell out with any chance you get. FREE SOWORE
