Edit: Wow, quite a lot of answers. I will keep giving upvotes for full answers until the post is 24 hours old. Just note that my power will go down, and I won't be online all the time.
Edit 2: Survey is for Nigerian users. Not upvoting others.
No, But have used a lil portion of my crypto to buy some steem before.
No, because shipping down here takes too long and more expensive than the price of the product.
Yes, from a local bank.
Yes, a MasterCard but always getting rejected due to gateway or third-party technical issues from local banks.
Not so meaningful but better than nothing.

Alrite good noble friend.
On 6 - What if shipping is still just as expensive as with Amazon?
Well it won't seem that expensive once its not in fiat, the conversion rate kills!

Yes and it was quite easy, we have got a lot of escrows, OTC desks, crypto 2fiat and crypto to crypto exchanges, some currently processing about $1m monthly now.
Yes, bought some steem on binance around September last year, though used it for trading.
Yes, buh unsuccessfully, to order from amazon, some extra steps have to be followed, I keep messing up and my orders canceled or not delivered. We have our own african shopping sites tho, jumai, konga, payporte, shopnow, etc
Yeah, from my bank.
Nah, most of us wont have that, the debt is monstrous.
Somewhat meaningful, its helped a lot, I prefer the engagement and the fact that I've made a lot of connections and friends, learned a lot about crypto through steem.
Yes! Mehn, if an easy way to buy goods with steem was available and the goods needed were available, that market would boom in nigeria at top speed.
Fun survey @demotruk!! Lemme go share it.

Yes, I have bought Steem. It was easy for me, and not as expensive as when I was buying bitcoin.
Personally, I haven't bought any products from Amazon. It takes quite a long time for it to be shipped here, so I prefer local e-commerce sites.
Yes, I have a debit card.
No, I don't have a credit card.
Currently, not so much. But I made good (great in fact) money when I first joined late last year.

6, Relatively, any earnings is "meaningful". I'm actually on steemit for the community. So I feel satisfied with any earnings that come my way.
7, I think the future of e-commerce hinges on cryptocurrency. And I strongly believe that steem is a major player in this. I've actually used my steem earnings to buy goods (though not on an online e-commerce platform), but I'm in for that. I'll use my steem earnings to trade on online e-commerce platforms, and buy goods. And I think it is welcomed

• Yes. There are hosts of third-party services available. But as usual, the cuts for commission is a bit off, but they work.
• Never bought Steem. Earned.
• Amazon? Nope, never bought a thing on Amazon. Really do not trust services asking for my debit card details. Or maybe I'm just not patient enough to understand the process.
• Yes I have a debit card.
• I do not own a credit card.
• Meaningful is rather subjective. I'd say "very meaningful" if we were back in December 2017. Now, I still earned a pretty decent amount of Steem with a lot less value. But it's just enough to get by. I'm good.
• It's a lot better than revealing my debit card details. So yes, I would buy stuff on Steem!
