Building STACH (#Project20Millionnaija)
In her essay, first published anonymously in the Times of London on January 8 1897, Flora Shaw coined ‘Nigeria’ as a shorter alternative to the widely named ‘Royal Niger Company Territories’- deeming it ‘inconvenient’ and to an extent a ‘misleading’ name for the then British Protectorate. Today, in contrast, ‘Nigeria’ is too small a word to encompass its 192.3m (worldometer, August 2015) population; more than 250 distinct ethnic groups and some 510 living languages on a landmass of 923,768sqkm- an area about twice the size of Sweden (The Report, 2012).
BUT THERE IS STILL HOPE!

We are a strong and proud people who can attain the impossible and do the unthinkable.
What STACH and #project20millionnaija means
- less people will go to bed hungry tomorrow than today
- less people will be unemployed tomorrow than today
- less people will die from preventable diseases tomorrow than today
THEN
- more people will have access to make wealth tomorrow than today
- more people will have free access to internet facilities tomorrow than today
- more people will have the opportunity to be creative and productive tomorrow than today
- more people will be proud to be Nigerians tomorrow than today.

WHY STACH
Looking around Nigeria, you will see a disappointing reality of the failure of a system that only teaches dependency on state provided jobs and assets, and this has made it near impossible for the youths and citizenry to aspire beyond what they are thought to know.
With the discovery of Steemit by most Nigerians, we have come to see a much bigger world that teaches self dependency and growth powered by community participation. A place where liberty-minded people are welcomed to create their world, mine their earnings, and transact in STEEM cryptocurrency that is instant and free to use.
THE TEAM
The STACH team is made up of @ejemai, @outhori5ed, @kamaraoti, @kennyc and @dante21 and our technical adviser is @donkeypong. Each member of the team are versed in various activities and we will be revealing these in future posts.
I am very glad to be in the great team. And i am grateful to @ejemai the initiator of the idea and @donkeypong for the advise and immense support. i also want to thank every team member for their relentless drive for this cause. i ask every Nigerian presently on steemit to fuse energy together to ensure that many more Nigerians get empowered through steemit. We can do this...Nothing is difficult for us to attain.
100% of this post reward (and any donations received) will go to fund the costs of creating the Steemit Accelerator Hub (STACH).
