Cryptocurrency Camps in Nigeria

in #nigeria7 years ago

If you want to succeed in the game of cryptocurrency, you have to be in any of these companies. There you will learn and connect with great minds. These guys have contributed immeasurably to my growth as a 'cryptopreneur' and I owe them a lot of appreciation.

CDIN (Cryptographic Development Initiative of Nigeria)
This NGO was founded by Adeolu Falade. Their goal is to >create a platform that will encourage the learning and practice of cryptography in Nigeria and collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

CDIN was my first encounter with cryptocurrencies. I got to know about bitcoin through a friend and I became fascinated. I searched for knowledge on how the bitcoin system works. I had to take a leap of faith and register a course at nexxusuniversity.com. The $100 I invested was a $100 well spent.

CRYPTOGENE

Launched on Dec. 14, 2016, Cryptogene is described by its founder Bashir Aminu as a community where Nigerians and indeed people of all nationalities could get acquainted, learn and understand the emerging cryptocurrency ecosystem (Iyke Aru, Cointelegraph).

I knew Bashir through CDIN and the guy is loaded.
The cryptogene project is launching its pre-ICO on the 9th of August 2017. The goal of the project is to educate, adopt and implement block chain technology in Africa.

CRYPTOHUB
Cryptohub is a hub for learning about cryptocurrencies. It is headed by one astute entrepreneur and crypto-lover, Chris Ani. They held a webinar lastweek and I heard it was fantastic. I did not attend the Webinar but I know Chris Ani. He is one of those guys that just knows what he is doing.

STEEMIT
I'm in love with Steemit.
Steemit is a brilliant application of the way bitcoin produces new money and social media.
It is revolutionary. I love the fact that people with no money nor interest in cryptocurrencies now have a another gateway.
For the first time, the average Joe can now turn his sweat equity to steem dollars and shares in steemit. I was happy to learn that Nigerians are embracing this platform.

These are the four major ways I can recommend as an entry into the wonderland of cryptocurrencies.

Did I miss any group/company? Please comment the name of the organisation or group you would recommend when it comes to cryptocurrency business in Nigeria or in your country. Tell me how you got to know about bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and block chains.

Thank you for stopping by.
