Night Watch
There she goes again. What is it about the car that she likes so much? I think she just does it to aggravate me.
She's feral and lives in the area with other ferals. Semi wild. Feels comfortable enough to be around people but not exactly a pet. Last year she climbed on the roof and made a jungle gym out of the solar panels. Thank you. But no thank you. I heard funny sounds on the roof that woke me from sleep, 2 am. I got the garden hose and put it on jet stream, but she ended up jumping down the chimney.
The fireplace is not in use and blocked. I had to unblock it and then coax her out. Then watch her run all over the house covered with soot. Cost me $150 to put a barrier inside the top of the chimney and I managed to make it so she couldn't get up on the roof at all. Had to take down some fencing near the house. She would jump from the fence onto the roof.
But now it's the car, at night. But I don't need scratch marks on the finish, thank you. I put a cat trap out with a can of cat food. She'll go in. And tomorrow I'll relocate her to a wooded area several miles away where there is another colony of ferals.
Maybe then I will get an unbroken night of sleep, and the need for a night watch will be over.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
That’s just how they are... ;-))
It’s easier if you open the door and let them sleep inside. And eat. And sleep. And rule the roost. ;-)))
They are all like this. It's a trip.
