Here's what we know so far about the working relationship between Josh Smith and the American Guard.

With less than three weeks left in this campaign for Chair, it's imperative that ordinary members speak out. Thanks to Josh's cowardly #OptOut narrative, he has persuaded the people who need to see this the most to tune out of the dialogue and they have blocked or unfollowed front line voices like mine. That means only people like YOU can get this information back in front of them.

There's a slogan from the days of the AIDS epidemic that is relevant to antifascist work: "Pray for the dead, fight like hell for the living!!" This is a call to action.

The delegates to NOLA do not represent outsiders. They represent YOU, the membership. We have no way of knowing which ones are entryists, which ones are well-meaning libertarians who've been deceived, and which ones view modern right-wing populism as a "success" for paleolibertarianism - some of them can be persuaded, and others can't. The only way to persuade the ones who can be, is to cast as wide a net as possible.

Totalitarian right populist governments of the past have frequently utilized minority voices as human shields in the beginning to deflect attention from their true policy intentions. If you are an ally of ethnic, gender, sexual, racial, and health minorities, don't let vocal minority supporters of right populist candidates dissuade you from unpacking what's going on. When these regimes gain power, they do not reward loyalty with their lives. They have historically murdered them once they were done using them.
