A day in the life : Day 527
Today felt slightly off balance, like things were working but not smoothly. The morning started fine, but the main issue showed up around midday. My mouse stopped responding properly. It would move, then freeze for a second, then jump again. Not completely broken, just unreliable enough to slow everything down.
I checked the battery first, then cleaned the surface, even tried a different port. After a restart it improved, but not fully. These half-working problems are more frustrating than something that stops completely. You keep trying to adjust instead of fixing it properly.
The weather today had a dull feel. Not too hot, but the air felt heavy and still. It made the whole day feel slower than it actually was. I didn’t feel like eating much in the afternoon, so I kept things light again without thinking too much about it.
In the evening I read about how more people are shifting toward owning fewer but better quality items. Instead of replacing things often, they’re choosing to maintain and use them longer. It feels like a quiet return to older habits.
The odd moment of the day came when I noticed my reflection in the window looked slightly delayed because of lighting and angle. For a second it felt strange, like it wasn’t matching perfectly, then it made sense.
Now everything is calm again. The mouse is usable for now, the work is done, and the room is quiet. Not a perfect day, but steady enough to move forward without much trouble.
