During our walks, often in Italian historical centers, we encounter various historical and architectural wonders.
Ancient stones, which form austere and elegant walls, which only our ancient masters were able to build.
We meet times and arches that remind us of our historical and artistic past, which our predecessors, Etruscans, Romans and all the Gothic and Cistercian craftsmen have created masterpieces that have withstood wars and earthquakes.
The alleys, squares and Italian fountains are our visiting card for foreign tourists and researchers.
But above all, Italy is the birthplace of the Renaissance, on which all the new artistic and literary research of the West rests.
Dante, Boccaccio, Giotto, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Piero della Francesca, Botticelli, Masaccio, Bramante and Raffaello, just to mention some of the great Masters, have given the world sublime works of art of universal value.

So, when we walk through the alleys and narrow streets of Italian historic centers, we also look at the small caves, sometimes at the top, let's look around, because we can discover new art forms, even in their simplicity they produce beneficial and therapeutic effects.
We observe the stones, they also tell.

An arched vault in the shade, with supporting fifteenth-century beams, a stone arch on the entrance of a medieval house, a small hanging arched balcony, a climbing ivy on a wall with an uncertain work: they lead us to dream, lead us to memories of the past, which should remain alive in our memory.
This is also art, being able to taste and enjoy a small passage in an alley, a lamp of the seventh century that dangles forever, a glimpse that remains inside your heart, forever.
Like the art.

Durante le nostre passeggiate, spesso nei centri storici italiani, incontriamo diverse meraviglie storiche e architettoniche.
Antiche pietre, che formano mura austere ed eleganti, che solo i nostri antichi maestri hanno saputo costruire.
Incontriamo volte ed archi di eccezionale fattura che ci ricordano il nostro passato storico e artistico, nel quale i nostri predecessori, etruschi, romani e tutte le maestranze gotiche e cistercensi hanno realizzato capolavori che hanno resistito a guerre e terremoti.
Ora sono ancora lì, presenti e maestosi.
I vicoli, le piazze, le fontane italiane, e le infinite opere d'arte custodite nei nostri musei, sono il nostro biglietto da visita per i turisti ed i ricercatori stranieri.

Ma soprattutto l'Italia è la Patria del Rinascimento, sul quale poggia tutta la nuova ricerca artistica e letteraria dell'Occidente.
Dante, Boccaccio, Giotto, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Piero della Francesca, Botticelli, Masaccio, Bramante e Raffaello, solo per citare alcuni dei grandi Maestri, hanno regalato al mondo delle opere d'arte sublimi, di valore Universale.

Allora, quando passeggiamo per i vicoli e le stradine dei centri storici italiani, osserviamo anche i piccoli antri, le volte in alto, guardiamoci intorno, perchè possiamo scoprire nuove forme d'arte, anche nella loro semplicità producono effetti benefici e terapeutici.
Osserviamo le pietre, anch'esse raccontano.

Una volta all'ombra, con travi del quattrocento a sostegno, un arco in pietra sull' entrata di una casa medievale, un balconcino pensile ad archetti, un edera rampicante su un muro ad opera incerta: ci inducono a sognare, ci conducono ai ricordi del passato, che dovrebbero restare vivi nella nostra memoria.
Anche questa è arte, il poter gustare e fruire un piccolo passaggio in un vicolo, una lampione del settecento che penzola in eterno, uno scorcio che ti resta dentro il cuore, per sempre.
Come l'Arte.
