The Play with the Fire - Light Painting with Fire
The Night of Fire. Light Painting with Fire in a collaborative effort with Zach Allen and wonderful Juli Thornton from Houston Texas.
Creating art together that's what @lightpainters is about.
We drove to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and found quiet and relativly dark spot underneath the pier it self. We did not take any risk of a fire. We did have a fire extinguesher and we been very close to the water anyhow. So everything was extreemly safe.
At first we both playing around and in the end we put it together in a semy perfect but fun camera rotation colab light painting.
Zach was doing the circle first then rotate and i created the wings. Juli was perfectly posing even in the strong winds.
I know I can set up the rotation tool in a way that we don't scramble up the pillars but I do like the Mikado effect after a while.
The exposure time here was exactly 100 seconds at F10 ISO 100.
Greetings to @martbarras and Pala Teth as well as all the rotation perfectionist 😎😁 it's my learning curve. I know it hurts you in the eyes 😜 Still I love the way it came out.
Thank you Zach and Juli
Hopefully you all like it as much as i do.
Glad you found your way to my gallery to enjoy my art work.

nice one. I tried this double exposure with turning the camera but only on a tripod, you probably have some kind of contraption for that.
Is there maybe a community for the Lightpainters Hub?
There is. Go to lightpainters.com and see on the map who is near you. You will find information about individual light painters or groups and Organisation. On Facebook there are several learning groups too. Lightpainting lab is on where people openly share how it's done.
For the rotation. Look at my post of the tree bark. There are also pictures of the setup and the rig itself. If you need more info find me on Discord or my email. Iam happy to help.
