Sculpting Dreams III (and some sweet nightmares)
The third post of the series inspired by @francescomai 's amazing 3d sculpture. More info
This time there are some more versions of the fractal, stylized by the Deep Dream Generator.
I really like the results; combining an abstract fractal with the correct style images, give some unique pictures. The textures feel so weird and alien, like taking form straight from other dimensions with different laws of physics, with light and colors diffusing in unique ways.
Hope you enjoy this; I just wish the Deep Dream Generator produced pictures of higher dimensions :(
You can leave a comment with which one is your favorite, why and what it reminds you.
The idea of fractals in art seems very interesting to us, that of a world within another world, of perspectives, is something that catches our attention. We love seeing that on the platform and the way talented artists like you express it through their work.
We would have a picture like that, it would be good to start conversations.
Thank you make shine to nTOPAZ!
This one somehow feels a bit ritualistic, to me, @nyarlathotep ! The textures and patterns are wonderful, as usual, and I've been loving the dark golden lighting on these pieces :) I think the middle, brightly lit shape in the center, somehow reminds me of old priest's staff, that's probably where the 'ritualistic' vibes come from....
Another wonderful piece, you're sculpting dreams and sweet nightmares, alright ! :D
Oh and the middle middle area reminds me of "Forbidden Path" as it goes deep and away from my eyes !
But from your four choices, which I love them all, I think "Decomposing Elder Thing" is my favourite since the top parts really look like viscera :D :D :D
Heh, like viscera indeed! The last one also looks more "realistic," with the blurry effect making seem like the innards of a real alien creature :)
Amazing collaboration and i am sure we will see more in the future. You are fine team player and artist @nyarlathotep:)
I like all the versions but if i had to choose one, it would be Web of Illusions. There is a warm feeling inside this symmetrical chaos that make want to get inside it and explore this surreal world:)
This is really nice - especially Decomposing Elder Thing.

It is the artist whose style I used; @thermoplastic gave me the hint and I discovered this amazing gallery.
