[CR] The descent
The night diggers continue their journey.
The unknown creatures which I have named ‘the night diggers’ have found themselves in a little bit of trouble. You can see them in a state of panic, falling. Where will the end up? Let’s just hope they survive the fall.
The progress...

The fun process of drawing the limbs for animated motion. The little guy at the very bottom is my favorite.

The completed animation without dark background. Not sure which version I prefer.

Very slow work with the background. I’ve debated about going through and adding more detail, like movement so it seems like they’re falling. It might be a little too late for that since my mind is already moving forward to the next part of the storyline.

I like the last bottom animation. I would suggest movement to the background darkness to create more of a falling effect but u already mentioned that. Cool looking forward to the rest of your animated project !
Thanks Duane! I’ll probably start with the next image and then circle back to add more movement to this one.
Cool that you are getting interested in animation! It's a lot of work but it's so rewarding watching it come to life.

So evocative... I feel bad for them!
Don’t worry! Things do get better for them!
I def love it with the background. Is this just animated GIF? If so what programme are you using?
Whenever I do a quick little animated gif for progress shots of my work I just use some free software online but it puts a watermark on it.
Maybe they'll land somewhere nice with flowers and beaches :)
The background does give it more of a punch. I’m using ImgPlay. I’m sure there are better programs out there but I’m a simple kinda gal. I did have to pay a small amount to get rid of the watermark too. :/
