[CR] Avocado fruit made with felt!
We’re halfway through the holiday season and I’ve been dying to make something with my hands!
Lately, I’ve been watching YouTube videos of an artist sculpting Pokémon characters out of light foam clay. UGH!! It looks like so much fun! Well, I don’t have that type of clay on hand and I really can’t afford to buy new crafting material so instead I decided to work with what I have. Before I could even get to crafting, I had to make the drive over to my Dad’s place to check up on the cat. The furry guy was just fine. I got to snuggle him for a couple of hours before returning home.
Once I arrived back home, I started to think about what I could do to subdue this hunger to create. The most appealing thing about the Pokémon sculpting videos are the bright vibrant colors used by the artist. That’s when it hit me....FELT! I have a crap ton of felt sitting in a crafting bag and it’s been neglected since the summer! That’s totally my bad...because I’m always rushing on towards the next fun idea.
Lately, I’ve been really into fruit. Which explains my fruity comic series that I’ve drawn about my daily interactions with friends and family. How could I not needle felt a fruit? Instead of sitting in silence while poking felt, I turned on the latest season of The Great British Baking Show. Ahh....I wish I was good at baking.

Adoracado! That’s brilliant! This took me 2-3 hours? I had to stop several times so I’m not quite sure. Lol little stick arms and legs would be hilarious! 😆 I’ll play around with that after I figure out how to do the face.
Oh ... I dont know what felt is :O So cool! Looks very fuzzy :D The colours are really nice <3 And Im glad to hear the cat's doing okay... :)
Felt is made up of either wool or synthetic fibers. It’s really fun to work with!
