Nutbox 101 | A DAO Creation Platform without Coding

As Web3, Constitution DAO and etc thrived in the winter of 2021, DAO as「A online community with its assets managed by the contributors of the community」is being accepted and created by more and more people.

Nutbox is the infrastructure of DAOs. Specifically, the Web3 communities can use Nutbox to issue community Token (cToken for short), creating a series of contracts to automatically distribute cToken to community contributors. We can interpret it from the following three perspectives.

Nutbox is a DAO creation platform without coding. Web3 communities can use Nutbox to:

1）Issue your own community Token（cToken for short）in one click, define the distribution rules of cToken,
2）Use ISO（Initial Staking Offering）to bootstrap the cold launching of DAOs,
3）Create Staking contracts around cToken（i.e., create liquidity mining pool contracts of cToken, Stake cToken Mint cToken to incentivize long-term holders etc）,
4）Configure the Governance of the community, DAO management and the allocation of DAO Fund,
5）The integration of functional modules such as Social and NFT etc.

Using Nutbox Toolkits, anyone can create a DAO in one click. On this basis, the Web3 communities can integrate numerous functional modules into the DAO to distribute their cTokens to DAO contributors and manage the DAO together.

Creating DAO in One Click

On Nutbox, anyone can create a DAO, issue the DAO’s cToken and define the distribution rules in 60 seconds.

Initial Staking Offering, bootstrap the Launch of DAO

Nutbox Initial Staking Offering (ISO for short) allows the Web3 communities to create modules for staking-offering of cTokens and direct the community to complete the cold launching.

The ISO supports mainstream PoS public chains. Once the Web3 communities configure this module, community members can delegate their PoS Tokens to the community or vote for community validators to receive cTokens. On the other hand, the Web3 communities can receive the Staking Reward for the staked Token, which can be used to repurchase cToken or other purposes.

Since the security of users’ staked assets is guaranteed by the PoS public chain, the ISO protocol has created a new financing method for the Web3 communities on the premise of ensuring the security of the user’s principal. At present, the annual Staking Reward distributed from the PoS public chains is as high as 20 billion US dollars, which will inject the first fuel into the Web3 communities.

Creating the Staking Contracts of DAO, Incentivize Contributors

The Web3 communities can use Nutbox to create a contract for Stake A Mint cToken, where A is a standard asset of a protocol, such as ERC20 or ERC721 Token.

For example, the Web3 communities can create contracts for Stake cToken Mint cToken, rewarding long-term holders of cToken. Or rather, create cToken liquidity mining and reward contributors who provide liquidity for cToken trading pairs. Nevertheless, the Web3 communities can create various other Staking contracts such as Stake ETH/BNB Mint cToken.

Configuring Community Governance, Managing DAO Fund

The Web3 community can create their own Governance modules on Nutbox just like Snapshot. Once the Governance of the community is created, community users can initiate proposals to decentralize the management of the community management or DAO Fund.

Other Functional Modules

Building DAOs Across PoS Public Chains
Nutbox ISO supports various mainstream PoS public chains, and the Web3 communities can create a 「Stake PoS Token Issue cToken」 module to launch its DAO. In this way, ISO enables any PoS public chain asset holder to participate in the building of DAO, and receive cToken by staking the PoS Token that they hold.

Cross-chain Configuration of DAO Applications

The goal of Nutbox is to become the basic protocol layer that connects users, the Web3 communities, and various applications. Once Nutbox Protocol is connected to the Polkadot network, the applications of each parachain can deploy its DAO on its own platform through Nutbox.
