OCD DAILY - Issue #25

Welcome to the 25th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #25 highlights content from eight (8) flourishing Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our (20) curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered eight wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.

The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say hello

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today’s top nomination goes to @Kryptik who brings an immeasurable amount of heart to the community through satire and belief that everyone has the ability to write great a post. The piece he’d chosen by @Zest is part of a series aimed at letting people know what they’re missing out on in the world of archaeology. Although Indiana Jones is the only “Archaeologist” most people are familiar with actual archaeologists have to work a lot harder. Imagine having to fight battles from a multiple of fronts in hopes that you can keep the item you found to better the culture. Click HERE if you’d like to know what its like to save the world through one dig at a time.

Our Second Piece as curated by @Jznsamuel: @Mariap a business owner and designer is here to let us know what it takes in the world of silk-screening to go from a blank canvas to something of absolute beauty. If you are unaware of silk-screening there is a good chance you’re probably wearing it, sleeping on it at night or using it for other things throughout your life. Click HERE if you’d like to know what silk-screening is and the process behind it.

Our Third Piece as curated by @Elteamgordo: @Nikitinskiy has chosen to venture into a part of the world that looks as though it were trapped inside a snow globe of gingerbread homes. The architecture alone is enough to transport you to what could have been simpler times. The town looks more like a museum display instead of an actual place regardless of the nearly 11,000 inhabitants. Click HERE if you’d like to be transported to a place many of us didn’t know existed but is definitely worth the trip. Yes, there is an actual town the model is simply built to scale.

Our Fourth Piece as curated by @Guyfawkes: @Arevolution is a freedom fighter and wants to make sure that people know the truth. Can you imagine a book you read as a child and now you have children wanting to share the same book with them? There’s one small problem the words that mattered most had been redacted or altered throughout. There are larger players here at work in terms of writing our history, as they want it instead of what is actually happening. Click HERE to know so that you can become better informed toward protecting your own legacy.

Our Fifth Piece as curated by @Mk40: @Errymil has channeled their inner Bob Ross (world renown landscape painter and collector) in this piece. Having taken inspiration from a visit to Northern California’s Mt. Shasta the results are breathtaking. If you click HERE you can see six amazing paintings which can be seen a testament to the many layers and their meaning giving the attention to detail. There are several touches that go much further than just the landscape itself but you’d have to visit the page to find out.

Our Sixth Piece as curated by @Chiefmappster: @Pinaynomad in this piece gives us room for growth as given by her thrill seeking journey that is wakeboarding. Not only does she want to help you to enjoy yourself but she cares about your health. Details are given as in regard to wakeboarding from a both a fitness and fun perspective. The place in which it all takes place it’s the CamSur Waterspots Complex in Bicol, Philippines. Click HERE if you’re up for the adventure or at least want to know what its all about.

Our Seventh Piece as curated by @Dorman: @Ovij just may be on to something in what I want to say has been the slowest race ever. The race I’m speaking of is race to cure cancer. Depending on the stage in which cancer is found can be the difference between life and death in some cases. Even still, most people would rather play the odds to their favor if the chance had been presented to them. Click HERE if you’d like to know the theory behind a possible means of combating cancer.

Our Eight and Final Piece as curated by @Jacobchamplain: @Michelrnilles wants to let everyone know the way of life they’ve grown to love can be a lot better. Imagine living in a home that is nearly if not fully sustainable such as the food you eat, energy, water and other things you need for comfort are regenerative. It’s a shame this type of living doesn’t get the attention it deserves as surely there are large companies blocking such growth. Click HERE if you no longer want to be enslaved by billion dollar companies for something you can have in most cases for free.

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Keep up the good work creating original content

Congratulations to all the Nominees

Congratulations to everyone what an honor! Happy for you guys 😊

Hi everyone , I would really really like to thank @kryptik for the nomination and belief in me and the @ocd board for recognizing and recommending my post. I am new to Steemit and the one thing that stands out more than anything else is the amazing generosity and selflessness of everyone on Steemit. I appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you!

That miniature village is amazing! I'd be all up in their playing GODZILLA tho..

omg that's hilarious. I would probably do the same.

How do you get to be on this list?? lol Great post and great recognition!

Post good content and wait for an OCD member to find you :)
We're reading through the newly published posts every day.

This is incredible! I am in love with this initiative :)) My last post was nominated, but not feautured. Still, it made feel really happy !!

Awesome
Plz follow & upvote me

amazing photos and post. Resteemed it

why you didn't allow people to send the link ? should i write 1000 posts till someone nominate me by chance!!!!! there no supporting for the newbies at all , people only voted for the famous persons and sometimes without even view the content ! if the posts were anonymous most of the famous people didn't earn what they earn ? why people are too selfish i didn't know !!!!

My humblest of apologies for having forgotten that sometimes we should overlook the availability of quality and focus on quantity. The purpose of people being here is so that the community is provided quality content as anything else is a byproduct. If you bothered to actually look at those nominated you would have seen the account creation dates of the authors which most haven't been on the platform two months. I'll be sure to let management know as your concerns are my concerns.

Steem on

thanks for your reply @jacobchamplain , i truly hope the best to this platform , but you knw the feelings that your work is worthless is difficult to handle , i got 87 followers in 8 days and all of them follow me to follow them not to see my posts those kinds of people will damage the community , the feed is much loaded with tons of articles , the good got mixed up with the bad. anyway I'll keep trying hopefully I'll get attention
