OCD DAILY - Issue #321
Welcome to the 321st issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #321 highlights content from ten (10)
Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found ten (10)
new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The @OCD nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
Our top nomination of the day is from @terrybogan
While traveling to Tokyo, Japan, @terrybogan visited an awesome light and art museum called teamLab Borderless. Everything in the museum is showcased under 3D like area with many interesting colours shown in a 10000sqm space. There are many TeamLabs exhibitions in different cities around the world and the one in Tokyo so far is the most colourful I’ve seen recently. Check out the post to see some of the amazing things shown at the museum.

Our next nomination of the day is from @voiceofnature
Beltane is an ancient celebration of saying goodbye to the winter and a welcome of the spring. @voiceofnature is a woodelf living in the fjords of Norway and in her post she shares her way of celebrating Beltane with her partner and friends as the first flowers begin to show up and nature slowly wakes up around them. They dress up for the occasion, warm up by the bonfire, listen to festive music, and eat delicious sweet potato brownies baked in hollow oranges on the hot ambers of the fire!

Our next nomination of the day is from @amalinavia
Amalinavia is urban sketcher and true marker guru, wherever she goes she is not leaving markers behind. In this post she is talking in a very unusual way about her current trip to Rome. Instead of showing us photos we get interesting sketches with lots of details. Second photograph just nails it.

Our next nomination of the day is from @allanjohnson20
With the final episode of game of thrones coming out this week everyone is hyped. Everyone wants to know who will sit on the iron throne at the end and everyone is really exited about the dragons. Same goes probably for @allanjohnson20 who presents us today his newest sculpture of a little baby ice dragon. In his post he also explains us how he made it.

Stylized baby ice dragon
Our next nomination of the day is from @naltedtirt
Ahh, young love, with a twist. Our author @naltedtirt shares a terrific fantasy love story. Their style of writing comes together so well in this story, unlike my own writing for this description while trying not to give away the "twist" in the story. It is a great journey of a young couple who fall in love for a time, that I am sure you will enjoy.

Our next nomination of the day is from @edouard
Very charming Steemian. He's an art teacher, and this post brings a showcase of one of his art classes with adult students that seem to have an eagerness to create art. @edouard shows his teaching method for drawing a bouquet of flowers and photos of the results of his own roses and his students' roses are included, along with a photo of two of his students clearly applying themselves into their painting.
The video at the end is part of his commitment to promote steemit contents through youtube channels, and he creates seven cute little drawings on his phone.

Omnom and Queer Paper Roses
Our next nomination of the day is from @striderpunk
Another new user joins Steemit sharing with us a lighthearted philosophical view on knock off products. As a father of three, @striderpunk has plenty of shopping opportunities for his kids and often come across some rather questionable merchandise. He shares with us his view on why knock off exists, what purpose they serve, and what if anything can be done to stop them.

Our next nomination of the day is from @carolinacardoza
@carolinacardoza shares details about the thoughtful and special gift she receives from her two sons, for the occasion of Mother's Day. The cushion with string art took time and effort to prepare, but the end result if beautiful and the family certainly celebrated the day in a memorable manner.

Our final nomination of the day is from @mealhound
A new steemian @mealhound shared insights on how to gave up smoking. It was a compact yet powerful read which might help us to realize something importnt. Smoking might be harming not only to ourselves but others surrounds us.The author's wrote : "Imagine yourself lying in the hospital bed with lung cancer with a few days or weeks left t live. You've done this to yourself, you chose to smoke, at any time you could have stopped but you didn't."
