I have been inactive on Twitter for an extended period, with no recent updates. Many of you can likely infer the reason. After losing $300,000 during the TST wave, my remaining balance was only $50,000. Through various PvP strategies, I gradually recovered it to $140,000. However, a single Alpaca trade resulted in a $100,000 loss, resetting my progress entirely. Two consecutive years of losses—including a $600,000 deficit in 2024 alone—have plunged my cryptocurrency journey into a destructive cycle.

Losses trigger mental collapse, leading to emotional exhaustion, which in turn causes poor decision-making and even greater losses. This post is not intended as a complaint but as a serious reflection and deep exploration of the root causes. I must compel myself to escape this pit.

Reviewing My Trades

Reflecting on these losses, surface-level factors like market volatility and misfortune appear responsible. Yet, upon deeper analysis, I must acknowledge that the primary issue was myself.

I operated with no strategy. Most trades relied on intuition alone. I completely neglected stop-loss orders, effectively trading blindfolded. Market movements would prompt panic selling or buying at peaks. After a loss, emotional trading ensued in a frantic attempt to recover quickly. I chased every "opportunity"—mindlessly copying whale wallets, impulsively entering trending tokens, and going all-in on purported "insider" tips. As desperation grew, chaos dominated my trading approach.

The most painful aspect was how repeated losses eroded my confidence. Initially, I could rebound swiftly. But after becoming numb to the losses, I began questioning whether the market was weeding me out—perhaps I was fundamentally unsuited for investing.

Drowning in self-doubt, I surrendered. I spent days watching videos, playing games, and going out—seeking dopamine to numb the pain. I refused to analyze my failures, telling myself, "Screw it, I'm already ruined." Consequently, the bleeding never ceased.

One misstep followed another, with losses accumulating endlessly.

Even now, I remain unhealed. In the stillness of night, I constantly revisit the golden opportunities I missed.

After years in cryptocurrency, I have never achieved a significant win. So, what now? Honestly... I have started to abandon hope entirely.

But by writing this post, I recognize—I cannot continue this way.

Short-term losses are not the most frightening aspect. The true danger lies in allowing myself to remain trapped in this state indefinitely.

I must regain composure, redefine my mindset, and start anew.

This post signifies a fresh beginning and a personal commitment. I will not let losses or apathy control me. I must take responsibility. Investing is a marathon; emotions and mindset are essential gear—I must repair them first to run farther.
