Remember when 100 bucks was a lot of money???????
15 years ago 100 US dollars would buy roughly twice as much as it buys today. I personally remember candy bars and sodas around 50 cents. Now I know there are exceptions to this on the more and less side. But basic lifestyle like going to a convenience store, or going to a restaurant, or going to a movie costs roughly twice as much as it did 15 years ago. The irony of this is most people aren't getting paid 100% more than they did 15 years ago (particularly in the middle class).
What strikes me as odd is despite everything basically doubling in price, people still act like a 100 bill is a big deal. In the last few months I have given someone a hundred dollar bill and they have acted like it may be impossible for them to ever find the four twenty dollar bills for my change???? I guess nobody uses cash anymore. At what point do we issue a 500 dollar bill?

That's the gift from central bankers (group of private banks and very rich and powerful owners) where they are quietly stealing money from all of us.
There will be no 500$ dollars in circulation. They are talking to get away with 100$ bills. Central bankers will have their own crypto currency that will be worthless and they will print it at will, just like fiat currencies today. And that one will become a law and mandatory. Corrupted politicians will be all for it, since 1 - they listen to their masters anyway, 2 - they will be now able to see and track EVERY transaction and tax everything.
Ugh...you are correct.....the powers have said we have no inflation.....can you imagine when they say we do have it!!!
I doubt, they will ever admit it. Deny and do the opposite. Many don't even understand it. Inflation, deflation... All people hear on MSM is how deflation is bad. Well, bad for central bankers but good for us, when your money can buy you more goods. But we are surrounded and bombarded with so much distortions, misleading, deliberately wrongly chosen titles, that average person has hard time keeping up with it. Like Federal Reserve of FED for short. Most of US citizens think fed is something government related. And most of stuff is crafted this misleading way. You really have to put extra effort to understand some of it. And that's the idea behind all of this. Most people will not try to put extra effort into understanding what is going on. Sad sad times we are living in it.
This is very interesting. Here in South Africa a $100 is a lot of money! Our largest note is only R200 ~ worth about $15!
I was living in Zanzibar and their largest note is a 10k shilling, worth only around $5. ha! crazy world we live in.

And the Tanzanian Shilling even lower! $1 = 2000 shilling. I was a millionaire there. was kinda nice but felt like doge coin all over again. =)
the inflation of money can eat up all earnings. thats why I never understood why some people leave their hard earned dollars at home.
Glad they reduced the Inflation of steem from 100 to 9 percent.
I think you are pretty right my man. The inflation is real and its increasing and increasing until they fix it for a small time. There will be the day, the whole system will collapse i think.
Well, im not old, but when i was 7 or 8 years old you got some ico for 1 euro. Today you pay 1,2 Euro for only 1 ball.... Thats real, and not really funny!

To me a $100 bill would be a big deal since although prices are going up wages are not going up at the same rate and it is worse here in the UK.

Federal banks produce more money that is the couse that dollar nowdays i not worth so much in like 30 years 100 bucks can be like 5 bucks .Banks live from poor peoples doing nothing just stiling thier money
