Steemit Open Mic Week 49 - Magic Window (Original Song)
A sleepless night made me find the Openmic contest and put up this video. Rough phone recording. No filters.
This song wrote itself about two years ago. It felt like it was floating in the air around me. I didn't know who exactly i was thinking about during the process but about half a year later I sat on a campfire in Thailand and I played this song to someone special saying: "I am so glad this song is already finished because otherwise I would have to write it for you now."

There's a lot of great stuff happening on this open mic platform, however just occasionally a contribution appears and stamps "extra special" on your head with a branding iron! For me, this really is one such song. Beautifully written with a simple and memorable melody performed with a whole lot of soul by such a lovely voice. When I say thank you for sharing it, I mean it most sincerely. 👏👏👏👏👏
