Life has pretty much been quite kind to me. Last week was amazing. I got lucky and managed a second place in @karenmckersie's popcontest. My songs are quite liked by the lovely guys in #openmic. It is like a huge family in there. Everyone is so supportive eventhough my songs should be rated as average. Saw many amazing music talents that not only composes but sings out an amazing song. You name it, they are all there.

Wife

I have been missing my wife since I left Malaysia. It has been a few months now. She is supposed to join me soon in London. She is one of my most loyal supporter. I used to do openmic at local artists joint and she will be there to support me and lend me the loudest cheer.

My Toy

Had been using my trusty old Seagull for a while, so I thought I would not be considered unfaithful if I switch to a new toy. So here is my new Fender Sonoron. Drumroll....

Work has been treating me like always...a SLAVE! But its all good and chill after a few mugs of beer. The local joint is always a sweet spot to catch up with the neighbours.

The guys at openmic, @luzcypher, @pfunk, @verbal-d, @soundlegion and @Krystle you guys are doing an amazing job. It is not easy to decide who gets the crown with so many good talents around. Okay, hopefully this butt kissing will get me short listed in week 52. Seriously dude, the real reason I wrote this post, is not to boast about my new guitar FENDER SONORON or to show off my pretty wife but to say, Happy 1 Year old Openmic....hope to see you grow old. At least for as long as I am doing my gig.
