oh i could kill steemit just had a great response and gone!! this keeps happening to me. lol...
well to recap! I was saying first off you are wonderful artist here in the openmic community full of your own unique style and flavor. I am a huge fan. I do know as the openmic contest has progressed with so many entries its hard for the judges to get comments down on each track. I know I have hard time doing it myself. Especially when you got glitches in steemit taking like 30 seconds or more to submit upvote or comment and then comments completely disappearing lol....judging openmic each week takes me around 5 hours in watch and post time, but yeah I know in my communications with the other judges they are extremely passionate and dedicated to the music community here. I also know you have such a fun style and talent in songwriting that even if your not making top of the list each week, you got fans out there that love you. You keep giving us that @steamrolla flavor, openmic ans steemit are still in this zone of beta, there is a real fan base to be had here, especially for someone as talented as you. Man im dreaming of days when steem is like 10$ a steem, just think all those 3-5$ payouts gonna turn into 30- 50$ dollar rewards if that goes down. bide your time, keep rocking us out and growing your dedicated listeners... its a good place to be. with lots of love from this end I promise you that.... huge kisses to you for the compliments as well...
Good one, Bobby-Ray! Great lyrics and chorus, bro! And how in the heck did you (a NYC boy) wind up in the Philippines? How's life there treatin' you brother?
Well I moved to S.California for about 20 years.Worked with a guy who had a Filipina wife. She gave a great pitch about them. To shorten the story I went there 2x. At age 5o I married a 27 year old. Can't complain. Now at 64 I have a 9 and a 6 year old plus 2 grandsons from my 33 year old from my 1st. So that's it. Still a New Yorker at heart.Visiting son in Florida around Xmas.and will be back to the states in 2 years.I may go to Nashville in 2018. I got a mixture of Rock and Country here...Studio stuff with some popular musicians http://BobbyRayKoch.com
That's my story,and I'm stickin' to it!
love these lyrics, very fun! catchy. Went to your website been listening to your songs. "Dead in Love" "not the bad guy anymore" you put a big smile on my face my friend, nods to a fellow songwriter. much blessings to you. I see you worked with Alice Cooper?? thats pretty cool!
Thank you,it was actually Alice Coopers lead guitarist, and now with Nite Ranger. He's also from Orange County.I miss my old place. You are the only judge(not counting Luz who stamps everyone) who makes a comment,so I figure the rest do not even listen to all the entries. I listened to your Bad Company cover. You got it all Talent,Smarts, and Looks!
You are to kind my friend. I love your work here and your awesome talent you have been sharing. What a fun and great songwriter you are. I think as openmic has got more and more entries each week, its hard for judges to get comments down for every entrie. I know for myself It takes me 5 Hours to judge open mic each week and with some of the latest steemit gitches taking like a full min to process a comment or upvote things get a bit hectic there. I do know in communications with the other judges they are very dedicated to the music community and the talent here. We have quite an impressive selection of artists. You are a wonderful flavor add to the openmic contestant team. Even if you are not finding yourself at the top of the judges picks, I know you got people out there who love your work and over time you continue sharing these great songs your gonna build an even stronger following of @steamrolla lovers. I am in love right now my friend ... big huge kisses to you and your great songs and wonderful firey spirit..wooo rocking!!!
I used to hang out outside a club in Sacramento when I was too young to get in and listen to Night Ranger before they got really popular. They were rocking.
Luz.you're cool, I'm sure I got you by a few years or a decade or two,but you are doing a lot for the musicians here, and I just get frustrated about the scorecard! Not you. Thanks!

So I can't put in one of my studio versions...mp3? My acoustic guitar here is terrible.
I am in the Philippines, and my guitars are split between OC and Orlando.
yeah the steemit artist music compilation is a thing I have put on that showcases recorded tunes not openmic stuff, I mean it could be a song you did on openmic that you recorded to mp3 studio wise that is. I would love to get a good tune form you in there. you bring a nice flavor as I said and diversity in sound is key to me. I like to put together collections that are unique
Great,that is
what I meant.I sent via email a studio version of "Sweet September"
Although I have a Halloween song "The Monster" but it may be too late!
perfect my friend, release date is december 15th so lots of time. I havent got into the emails yet but im looking forward to popping this one on. huge love

Can I enter more than one?
For many, it was more than the booze! Weed, LSD, peyote, mushrooms, speed, downers, coke, heroin......
Fun tune!
The song would have been way too long if I added all that we did back in the day! But true
For many, it was more than the booze! Weed, LSD, peyote, mushrooms, speed, downers, coke, heroin......
Fun tune!
and more...but the drink was a constant companion.
