Voices Of Open Mic - tonypapa - A Wellspring of Inspiration for a jaded Musician

Never in my wildest dreams could I have thought up the combo of Blockchain, Bitcoin, Steemit and Music. And how that will change the game. Only if you can see the gameboard can you play and my fellow Steemians, We see the gameboard.

Before the internet, late 1980's-early 1990's, if you were in a good band that spent the money for a good promo kit and demo tape you could land local shows and get paid pretty decent.

Then the internet showed up: emails were cheaper than postcards in a mailing list but home-recording/sharing, shorter and shorter attention spans and bigger, sharper, hypnotizing flat screen TVs, smartphones, Whew! It was getting more and more difficult to get noticed as everyone realized Hey! I can be a STAR on Facebook! (youtube, whatever...)

It became easier to produce and share music and then with the right networks, licensing music became easier.
Then crypto. Then Steemit. Now. Future is Many Amazing Possibilities. Steemit Open Mic has brought people that not only enjoy music and art but see the world and the future differently. We all know what I mean by that! I know you know! That's what's up!
