Isn't Oprah More Qualified Than Obama? Why Not Her?
Just to level set, I am a Conservative that is generally frustrated with the 2 Party System. We have too many Politicians that have really have accomplished nothing in life other than entering politics and winning elections. And let's face it, once they win their first election, their subsequent elections are fairly easy to win. Incumbents almost always have a significant advantage over their opponents. This leads to career politicians that are numb to the real world and consumed with their Beltway Power. And they become loyal to their Party rather than the people that they supposedly serve. This leads to gridlock, empty promises, and self serving attitudes. And even if you are a "Never Trumper", you have to acknowledge that his Presidency has exposed much of what I am describing above.
That being said, many people are now questioning the possibility of Oprah making a run at the Presidency. I say why not? What made President Obama (or any other person) more qualified than Oprah? Absolutely nothing! I believe that she is just as qualified, if not more qualified than other Career Politicians. She has built an empire over the years without pissing anybody off or stepping on people (to my knowledge), she is a great communicator, and she has proven that she knows what it takes to be successful in a cut throat industry.
While at the end of the day, I probably won't agree with most of her opinions, but I don't think that disqualifies her as a viable candidate. And, much like Trump, I don't think that she is likely to be "bought and paid for" by special interests
Why not her?
I would like to media to explore in more detail how far her connections with people like Harvey Weinstein, George Soros, the Clintons and the Rockefellers go. I grew up liking Oprah as much as the next person but with all the revelations happening around these influential people and their nefarious deeds, she has to be a suspect. Is she of the same mindset? Time will tell though.
Absolutely! but much like her political competition within the Dem Party, that shouldn't disqualify her. I am pretty sure that most of the winning candidates on the Dems side had deep connections to the Soros's and Weinstein's in the party. I am not defending or supporting her, I was just trying to point out the hypocrisy of people within the Dem Party that are questioning her qualifications when many of their existing incumbents and candidates can't hold a candle to Oprah when it comes to her achievements.
And how can we get Soros and his house in New York?
She will never run. She would have to expose where she is hiding her millions to avoid paying taxes.

You are probably right and quite frankly I would prefer a more conservative candidate. However, I have a problem with people, specifically Career Politicians and Pundits questioning her qualifications to even be a candidate. I believe that we have a "ruling class" that is designed to keep outsiders away.
The Hollywood elites seem to be by her side. And if she did win snd went against trump the MSM will worship her and cell anyone who questions her a sexist racist
