Oregon's Pacific
When viewed on a smartphone, turn it on it's side!
Long and sandy with a breeze to keep you cool
ALWAYS bring your hoodie
It may be clear, or overcast and cloudy, but the wind will blow
Oregon’s pristine beaches and dramatic sky’s make the best sunsets
I don’t eat clams
There is nothing quite like spending the morning digging them
5 or 6 am on the beach shovel in hand, let the pounding begin!
Waves always threating to drench, better grab that clam quick
I love watching the black oystercatcher with his orange beak
And the gulls while annoying, are graceful in flight
Seal lions on the beach are fun to watch
In the river, eating salmon are a scourge
The sound of the waves crashing is, to me, very soothing
Crushing care and worry from your mind
Replacing it with the majesty all around you
Is there anything better for restoration?
On 101, at many places, the land will fall away in sharp cliffs
Revealing the blue infinity of the mighty Pacific
If you are lucky you will spot a tail or spout
No oil rigs dot our coastline, LET’S KEEP IT THAT WAY!!!
We Oregonians love our beaches (Rivers, Forests, Mountains, Lakes, Sand Dunes)
If you come here to live (please don’t)
You will have two expectations placed upon you
We are a kind people, be kind and helpful
We love our clean environment, PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!
