I wrote this song a couple months ago about my best friend. As the story goes, we were struggling to get by financially, so I left him to join the army. Four years later, I had finished my tour to find that he had moved on with his life. I wrote this song because I felt guilty and I missed him. Happy ending alert! He heard the song, we managed to reconcile, and now we are pals again! Music is a beautiful thing everyone! Thanks for listening.
