Curiosity got me, just had to go see what was beyond all the purposely fallen.
Well, I just had to... curiosity got me!
Jay, the kids and I went back out to the logging area to see what was past the road with all of the purposely fallen trees across it.
So this is why they blocked the road, a running/open creek, this must also be where they took out the other bridge.
Sienna and I made it across.
As Dallas was coming across further down he scared up a Goose no one initially saw. Good thing I had my phone out already taking pics and happened to get this awesome shot.

Spotted an Eagles nest on the other side of the creek.

The wind is soo cold coming across the lake and making lots of hard to plow drifts.
Stopped to make a fire to warm up.

The ride back home.

More logging was done past the creek. 😒
That creek runs out of our lake and into a very small lake, I am assuming the fish run that creek in later in the spring.
Yuck! Hopefully they didn’t mess up the the eco system of the creek.

Dallas scared the goose and himself trying to find a way across the creek, the goose flew right up towards where I was sitting and I already had my phone out taking pictures of the creek.
That's the first goose I've seen this year!
