We are in Greece now, been here three weeks—it’s a great place! Of course she can make them, most anyone I can I’m sure. Most anyone can probably make pizza, too, but until you’ve had pizza in Italy.. who really knows?

I don’t have any family, I‘ve explained that, you’re probably as wrapped up as I am with people around here and forget who’s who sometimes. Nope, the only child, a bastard, buried my mother at age 37, I had grandparents once but they’ve been gone a long time. Mom was all I had (in the flesh).

Yes, permanent place, of course. I find myself looking at Tennessee regularly and an occasional peak at Florida. Both have convenient things like no state tax and two of the 5 lowest property taxes in the country.

Sort:

Howdy sir dandays! No I wasn't asking about your family, I remember your situation, I was asking about both of you so I assume Pura has family there and I assumed you both had friends to see.

But I had no idea you were thinking of living here permanently, I thought you didn't like it here! The pizza is really that different there?

Man, I love where I'm from, I don't like to smoke shield politicians build, I don't like the way they keep us in the dark, I don't like the way I'm the only one who knows the US is still bombing the Middle East, its crazy. I had no idea. My buddies only know because i tell them. I hate taxes! I hate the prison system. But, friend. I love my country!

Ok, sorry, I misunderstood you. Yes, I do have all of my chosen family in California, as does Pura. California is a working state, though, I’m in slow-mo now.

I had planned on raising dogs in South America and even considered doing that in the UK but the longer I'm gone, the more I realize why businesses are successful in the states. That's where all of the consumers are, even people who own German shepherds. Your chances of success are much greater in the states.

Also, being gone this long, I've learned I miss conveniences, @janton. My whole life, I could walk down to the corner and have anything I want. You know what i mean, it's the states, we can have anything we want in the states from foods to shoes, to eye drops, to rooftops, everything is literally on the corner. Janton, I originally set out to get away from “conveniences” but the fact is you don’t know what you got til it’s gone.

I can’t get over how the rest of the world can possess guns, sir, it’s insane to me! Weed is illegal over the place, too, ridiculous!! These other countries regulated and made a seed bearing plant illegal. You know they don’t even have Freedom of Speech in Europe?! Did you know that?! You can be fined and jailed for flipping someone off in Europe while saying the actual F bomb, “F-you.” Yeah, I miss the things make me comfortable sometines.

Thanks for listening Janton and thank you for always being nice.

About Italy. I don’t know if it’s the best but I’m going to find out—it better be! And the pasta better be the best, too.

Howdy sir dandays! But did you always plan on coming back to the States are did you realize that after you've done all this traveling? Yes I am very aware about the lack of free speech in Europe and actually got into it with Steemians from Europe who think they are totally free! lol.

I agree that in many areas the U.S. is the biggest consumers in the world. We buy everything and if we don't have the money we figure out how to buy it anyway. lol.

I like conveniences too. Being out in the country I miss them alot. lol. I got spoiled.
Thanks for this great explanation, it makes total sense now!
