I believe non Steem users can view and read our posts, but they must have a Steem account to interact and comment and vote.

Mel works, too and is faster to type! I'm not a fan of Twitter and I'm sure I am not using it very efficiently, but I'll continue sharing posts there because people do see it and it gets our name out there!
