River Dragon

Here's another watercolor from my sketchbook. From the base of my artistic history I've loved to make up creatures. Dragons were the first things I started to draw. I went on to wolves, ungulate animals, and started making things in between the three. I was thinking of an otter when I was painting this dragon. I gave it cat-fish like whiskers as another characteristic of something that may live in a river. The best things about dragons is they can be so diverse, and you can add whatever characteristics you want.
