Trying to get it right...Painting
I decided for Christmas this year that I would try to throw down on a good batch of paintings for everyone, on account of just trying to save money.
So my kid likes that band Linkin Park, and I figured that would be a good place to start. So i started with this portrait, and got about two hours deep(yes I am slow) before I decided to trash it. I just didn't feel right. I took white paint and completely covered the whole thing.
Ready to start over. A few days later I walked back in, and dove in head first. I decided that if I was going to get a good start, I needed to start off running.
So I basically just started winging it, and only 30 minutes later, I felt like I was already in a better place. At this point, I am only about half done with it. But I love where it's going.
Can't wait to see it finish.
